Do I need a referral from a dentist?
No. In Ontario, Registered Dental Hygienists can provide cleanings and preventive care without a dentist's referral. We review your health history before every visit to make sure care is safe for you.
Where do you park?
We need about two regular parking spaces on a driveway, parking lot or safe, legal street spot. Our van has its own power and water, so we do not need anything from you.
Will my insurance cover it?
Most dental benefit plans include coverage for cleanings by a Registered Dental Hygienist. We provide a detailed receipt with standard procedure codes, and can direct bill many plans.
Do you still recommend seeing a dentist?
Yes. We focus on cleanings and prevention. Dental hygienists do not diagnose or fill cavities, so we will refer you to a dentist if we notice anything that needs attention.
